2017 Walking Sculpture Tour
Towards Tomorrow
Artist Statement:
My work deals with the body in relation to space and time, and often draws inspiration from concepts in physics and mathematics. Towards Tomorrow is a linear projectile that is defined by the receding lines, and the suspended interior portion provides a sense of weightlessness. I believe the form can become relatable when seen in relation to the self, and in that way connections can be made between ourselves and the space that we occupy.
