Public Art

Artist Statement:

Resurgence, by Colorado sculptor Chris Powell symbolizes the struggle of people under great strife and the movement to continually move upwards under those circumstances. Resurgence was purchased by several business leaders associated with the design and construction of the new Mankato Public Safety Center. The sculpture was permanently installed in front of the Public Safety Center in 2012.
