Artist Statement:
Inner Peace explores healing trauma and finding serenity. The three crescent moons honor the Kidder family crest while paying tribute to the artist’s entire lineage. While grappling with humanity’s vices and failures and the generational impact of war and abuse, a question arose—“What do I do with all of this?” A seemingly paradoxical conclusion was realized: to alchemize the trauma into inner peace, so the creation of this sculpture became an exercise in transmutation.
