Artist Statement:
This project was developed by the students in the 2020-2021 JWP Advance Metal Sculpture class. It demonstrates the many different skills of the students involved in the class. This sculpture represents the idea of being watched over while we go about our daily lives, and symbolizes hope and freedom for all.
About Janesville, Waldorf, Pemberton High School, Advanced Metal Sculpture Class
This is a collaborative sculpture created by the JWP Advanced Metal Sculpture Class of 2020-2021. There are six students in this class of which all had a part in making this sculpture. The Advanced Metal Sculpture Class won the People’s Choice Award in 2018 and has had a sculpture purchased in 2020. The class has been accepted into the Mankato Walking Sculpture Tour three years in a row.
