Artist Statement:
Healing frequency of water comes to life. Light seems ‘contained’ inside shapes, sparkles, and radiates a glow—even in the nighttime. Inspiration hit after reading that water has a memory, so remembers where it’s been.
About Mark Hall
Mark began working professionally in the glass field in 1976. In 1980 studying under master artisan Warren Olson, learned German techniques of leaded glass construction and began fabrication/installation of ecclesiastical stained glass windows. In 1988 following America’s Studio Art movement founded Hallmark Art Glass with beloved wife Leslie Munchhof. They continue business today creating sidewalk sculptures for Mid-western cities annual rotations.
