Artist Statement:
My love for nature manifests itself in my paintings. I focus mostly on landscapes because that is what I am drawn to. I try to create places that I’d like to be so I feel like I am there. Wildlife inspires me.
About Katie Meyer
Katie Meyer was born in a hayloft, but wasn’t raised in a barn. She has painted since she was the smallest of children and later, as a larger child, painted some more. She lives in Mankato with her two daughters and her mustachioed life partner, Matt.
