About Keith Dorn

Keith Dorn was born and raised on a hobby farm in Nicollet, Minnesota and eventually moved to Mankato where he started his 34-year career as a maintenance worker. His interest in art started in school and continued to grow as a father, decorating with his two children at Halloween. This passion continued to grow into designing and welding sculptures using scrap metal.

Dorn’s Designs was established nine years ago. Keith and his wife attend five to six Art Festivals each year. Dorn’s Designs has allowed him to continue his passion as a full-time job, which he feels is not a job, but pure enjoyment, bringing smiles to many faces.
