Call for Artists – CityArt 2025/2026 Commemorative Visual
CityArt, the organization that brings the walking sculpture tour to the City Centers of Mankato and North Mankato, is calling for artist submissions for placement on the CityArt 2025/2026 commemorative swag. The artist who creates the selected artwork will receive $200 and recognition on the CityArt website.
The theme is The Beauty of Public Art. The visual should celebrate public art including some examples of CityArt’s programming including the CityArt Walking Sculpture Tour, CityArt On the Go (murals + traffic boxes), Silo Art and the Public Art Tour. Please see tour pages on this site for more information on those programs.
The design should incorporate the CityArt logo and work within the CityArt brand. It should include the text Mankato and North Mankato and the dates 2025/2026. The design should be applicable for use on items such as t-shirts, mugs, notecards, etc. Download CityArt Logos
The integrity of the True Commercial logo must always be preserved. Do not stretch, distort, rotate, or manipulate the logo in any way. Altering the logo’s shape, proportions, or design undermines its meaning and weakens its impact

If selected, the artist agrees CityArt owns the art and to collaborate with CityArt to supply the art in the necessary digital format to be reproduced.
Deadline for submissions is March 10, 2025, by 5:00 p.m. Please submit to amy@twinriversarts.org.
