I create art for one reason, it makes me happy. The materials I use and the subjects I choose all speak to me on some level. From finding materials to sketching & creating the final product, the entire process is something I truly enjoy.
About Tim Nelsen
Tim Nelsen is a metal artist specializing in steel sculpture. He is based in Bemidji MN and uses recycled and ‘found’ materials almost exclusively. Tim’s artistic influences come from a variety of sources; from the Looney Tunes he loved as a kid, to Swiss grid design and industrial art. Tim was a graphic designer most of his life and started creating metal art in 2018. He strives to continue furthering his knowledge and growing as an artist each year.
